Android Already Not Able To Save The BlackBerry

Fiscal fourth quarter results did show BlackBerry growth in software and services sector which saved the company's revenue. But the report also showed a decline in numbers in the sales sector of the hard disk that is only able to sell 600 thousand units in the last quarter of the fiscal year. This is certainly a bad achievement for the BlackBerry.

As reported by Forbes, from Monday (4/4/2016), although the BlackBerry still has a chance for sales on Priv for the rest of the year 2016, but by passing the predictions of Wall Street with the sale of 850 thousand units and decrease of 14.3 percent in sales in the previous quarter, it is a sign that threatened the safety of the BlackBerry hardware Department.

BlackBerry, CEO John Chen earlier also said that if it is necessary, it should sell three million BlackBerry handsets to reach break-even point in order to save the BlackBerry hardware Department. However the target already installed it seems to just be wishful thinking only.

The successor to the BlackBerry smartphone Serverach this year likely still using the Android operating system, but the future will target the ultra-competitive mid-range devices. Chen has been understanding if high-end devices market is no longer a place for BlackBerry is competing. However, Chen does not add any additional information that is more specific.

Certainly to survive a mid-range device competition will make the BlackBerry a difficulty. It is because the market mid-range in price competition is intense and the specs are decent. While BlackBerry Serverach itself too expensive for the specifications can be found on the cheaper smartphones.
