NEW YORK - Three-storey building in the center of New York City collapse triggered a huge explosion, on Thursday (26/3). The
tragedy also triggered a fire four other buildings in the commercial
and residential district of the prestigious East Village. Around 19 people were injured. Four of them were seriously injured in the disaster that sparked panic among residents of the Manhattan.
"(Explosion) sounded very loud at all. All glass windows shook," said Philip McElroy. When the 23-year-old student was in the apartment of an associate within two blocks of the scene.
