MISSOURI - Eight people were killed in a series of shootings that occurred in southern Missouri, USA, on Thursday (26/2) local time.
The eight men believed to local authorities was shot by an actor, a man, who then shot himself.
Victims of actors consists of three women and four men. This event is expected to last around 10 pm.
At that time, the Texas County Sheriff's Department received a call from a girl who said she heard the sound of gunfire. The girl also admitted that he had fled to a neighbor's house after hearing the gunfire.
Police later found two people were killed in the residence mentioned in the initial report.
Upon further investigation, officers found five more victims, and one person was injured in three different houses.
While a man aged 36 years, was found dead in a vehicle near the Shannon County.
Believed, this man shot himself, and he is believed or allegedly become perpetrators in this case."In our work, we often see a lot of bad things, and this case (shooting) bad," said a spokesman for local authorities, Jeff Kinder, as reported by Reuters on Friday (27/2).
Kinder said police are still investigating the motive of the murder victim and linkages.
The murder occurred in the area adjacent to the Mark Twain National Forest, an area known to attract tourists who want to hunting, camping, and rafting
